Bishkek day 1.

Dag 48. Bishkek

2nd July, Bishkek/Toyota/Ulrikka

“Blackie” had to go for service.
Toyota India had booked this service for us, in Bishkek.
She has run 12000 km, peacefully and quietly without making a sound, so a bit of loving care, and service was badly needed.
With Sabina and Igor - Sammen med Sabina og Igor

At the Toyota Service station, we were welcomed by Sabina, who was our translator and guide.
She patiently explained to the service manager, Igor, what all I wanted done with the car. The service manager, who was a thorough professional, and since we had parts from Toyota Bangalore, the car was left with Toyota. We caught a cab back to the hotel to wait for Ulrikka.
Susanne and I went for a haircut, and spend the rest of the morning chatting up the hairstylists, who were all eager to cut my hair. But the little bit of hair I had left, took them just 10 min to finish. Since they could not stop touching me, they even offered to give me a massage.

Ulrikka arrived at 4.30 pm. We left together in a taxi, to pick up the car.
At Toyota, the car was ready, and we said goodbye to Sabina and Igor, and drove back to our hotel.

Had dinner, at a local pub near by, which served great steaks and kebabs. Drank a few whiskeys and enjoyed the food.
